Dr. Sarah Mitchell, CCC-SLP, speech-language pathologist at Coastal Speech Co.

Meet Dr. Sarah Mitchell, CCC-SLP

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist & Founder

From the moment I watched a child speak their first clear sentence after months of therapy, I knew I had found my life's calling. Communication is the bridge that connects us to the people we love, and there's nothing more rewarding than helping someone build that bridge.

With over a decade of clinical experience, I specialize in pediatric and adult speech-language disorders, feeding and swallowing therapy, and teletherapy services. My approach is rooted in the latest peer-reviewed research and tailored to the unique needs of every individual and family I work with. I believe therapy should feel warm, encouraging, and even fun โ€” because the best outcomes happen when clients feel safe and supported.

After years of practicing in clinical settings across Florida, I founded Coastal Speech Co. to create a practice that truly reflects the values I hold dear: compassion, excellence, and community. I'm proud to call Panama City home, and I'm deeply committed to serving the families along our beautiful Gulf Coast. When I'm not in the therapy room, you'll probably find me walking the beach with my golden retriever, paddleboarding in St. Andrews Bay, or volunteering with local schools.

Whether you're a parent navigating a new diagnosis, an adult recovering from a stroke, or someone who simply wants to communicate with greater clarity and confidence โ€” I'm here for you. Let's work together to find your voice.
